At the duck pond

Two boys just hanging out on a bench.

Soooo sweet!

Ring around the rosie, a pocket full of posies, ashes ashes, we all fall down! Austin loves to play this game, and Braeden loves to watch.
Such a great smile!

Capturing a picture of this boy is always going to be an action shot!

Cooking with Mimi

Here I am making Valentine's cookies with my Mimi.

See, you push the cookie cutter in just like this!

Enjoying the fruits of my labor has never been sweeter!

Will you be our Valentine?

Mom tried to get the perfect picture of the two of us for our valentines. Here are her attempts.

Sweet, but not the image she was going for.

Ummmmm, no, not quite it either.
Seriously, cut that out boys!
We're half way there.
Umm, she thought that maybe she should go ahead and try individual pictures then.

This was a tough shot, that's mom's leg Austin is holding on to.

This made mom think of devil horns by this point in the process.

Blowing kisses is pretty cute, Austin.

Almost got it, back up just a little bit Braeden.

AND WE GOT IT!!! Now who wouldn't want to be this kid's Valentine?

Look at that sweet, innocent smile. It's almost believable isn't it. Well believe it! He is a heartbreaker!

I LOVE TO COOK!!

Hi it's me

Hi there, it's me Braeden. Just wanted to let you know a little about me lately. No, I am still not crawling (Mom says that is just fine with her), but I scooch around and roll around all over the place to get what I want. This sort of bugs Austin, when I scooch or roll over to where he is and try to grab his toys. Look out big brother, soon I'll crawl over and grab them! I have 5, yes that is right I said FIVE, teeth coming in to join the 2 on the bottom I got last month (four on top and one more on bottom). You would think I was a huge grouch with all those teeth coming in, but I am an angel. I have started sleeping 12 hours at night, and I wait until my brother gets up to wake up. I go to the doctor in a couple of weeks for actual stats, but I am growing out of all my 12 month clothes, and have got the plumpest belly you have ever seen. That's probably due to the fact that I'll eat anything. Mom says this is such a blessing. I chew up everything she puts on my plate. Anyhoooooo, enjoy these pictures....ALL OF ME!!!

I spot something I really want, and scooch, scooch, scooch......
Ta Da!! I got it!!

I see you looking at me in that mirror!
997, 998, 999, and 1,000! Whew push ups can make you tired!

Drumroll please....no seriously, I love to bang on the drum. I practice in my Kindermusik class all the time. I am very advanced in drums and maracas. Notice my round belly in this shot. That is not the angle, it really is my round belly. Austin calls it my "big baby belly."

Another visit to the zoo

I think I liked the sea lions the most, since they did neat tricks. I clapped and clapped for them!

This pretty cat is an Ocelot, they are endangered and live in the wild in Texas. Save the Ocelot!

I don't remember the name for this animal, but it lives in Africa and looks a lot like Bevo.

This has to be the coolest monkey I have ever seen. He just sat there on that log looking at us with his feet crossed....probably thinking how dumb we look taking his picture.

And the coolest experience was this Orangutan who was a new mommy and had a cute baby. She sat right by the glass and looked at us, then picked up her blanket and went over to check on her baby. So cool!

Mr. Picasso Head

Do you see the deep meaning behind the Mr. Picasso Head I have created? I cannot explain it to you in words, you must feel it's meaning. That's all I have to say.

Climbing the toadstools

Hey Mom! Watch me, I can do it all by myself. Step one, climb on the smallest toadstool (that's what I call these stools.)

Step two, carefully reach for the next stool with your hand.

Step three, bring both hands together on the next stool. Then,......um......um......hey, wait, I am stuuuuuucccckkkk! Could I get a little help here please???

Now where was I, oh yeah step four, just get someone to hold your hands and help you take huge steps up the stools, then smile when you get to the tallest one like you did it yourself.

Hunting at the park

Alas, we find our prey basking in the sun, enjoying some time on the slide.

Primal instinct kicks in....suspiscious feelings arouse from deep down inside.

The hunter is spotted. Oh no! Now what???

Hey, wait a minute, he's friendly, I don't have to fear him.......or do I?

Nah, everything turned out just fine.

A Little Dirt Never Hurt

Here I am playing in my beach. At least that's what I call my sandbox. I have a great time, and I keep most of the sand in the box.

A trip to the zoo

With springlike temperatures, and sunny weather, what could be better than a trip to the zoo? Mommy took us to see all the animals, but I wonder, who was really looking at who? I think most of the animals came to check us out in our green stroller! Here are just a few of our favorites.

These fish were bigger than we were!

Monkey see, monkey do!!

Crocodiles go chomp, chomp, chomp!

Braeden loved "touching" this green frog.

The sea lions were fun to watch...they kept bouncing a ball to each other.

The Mearcats just kept watching us. They were funny!

These two baby cheetahs were having so much fun pouncing each other, Austin and Braeden were cracking up.

Wow! That is one big elephant!

This baby giraffe was born the same day of Austin's last trip to the zoo! It is neat to watch him grow.

More elephants!

Here is a closer picture of the baby giraffe.
