Aaaahhh...how cute!

Aaahhh....how cute!

Ho Ho Ho!

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!!......especially my Mommy and Daddy.

This is the life

I love being in my Daddy's arms. It is my happy spot!

Hey, I know you

My Mommy and I like to stare at each other for hours!

Playin' Air Guitar!

I want to play the guitar just like my Daddy when I grow up.

Jack helps with my bath

My dog Jack likes to help with my bath. He is such a sweet dog.

My First Bath

I took my first bath in my Mommy's lap. It was ok, but I didn't like to be bathed for very long. As you can see, I had a shot that day and they gave me a Shrek bandaid. It was a busy day.

Maggie and Me

My dog Maggie loves me very much. She used to put her head on me like this when I was still in my Mommy's tummy, and now she is so happy I am here!

A Texan is Born in New York City!

We are so proud to announce the birth of Austin Thomas Giffhorn. He was born, Thursday December 8 at 8:10 p.m. He weighed 9 pounds 6 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long!!

We struggled between several names to pick just the right one, but when the doctors and nurses pulled him out during surgery and kept talking about how big he was, and one even called him a Big Texas Baby, we knew that he picked his own name.

Quick...grab a comb!

I do have hair, but they didn't style it for you when they took this picture.

Big foot!

My foot is as big as the thumb on my daddy's hand, and that is big!

Boy were we tired....

The night I was born, we were worn out! I took over 24 hours coming into this world, but I was so worth it! Right, mommy?

Sooooo tired!

This was the night I was born, and we were all so tired!

My daddy is the greatest!!!

I've got my mommy wrapped around my finger!

I like my new bed.

This bed is so much better than the ones they have in the hospital!

32 weeks, and all is great!

I went for my 32 week ultrasound, and our baby boy is doing great! He had all his body parts and organs, and we were able to get measurements of everything. Again, he wasn't shy for the camera, but it was a little harder to get a picture since he has grown so much. Here is the best picture we were able to get. The measurements estimate him to weigh about 4 lbs. 10 oz. right now. Only 8 more weeks to go! No, we still haven't decided on his name yet. We have a couple that we have narrowed it down to, but we may have to decide when we see him.
He is turned sideways here, and all you can see is is head (on the right) and his hand up by his face on the left. We can't wait to meet him!

Belly, belly, belly, Mom!

This last weekend was our baby shower at Kelly's house, and everything was wonderful! We were overwhelmed by the love and gifts that kept flowing our way. It was so much fun! Here is a picture from after the shower of me and my belly. Everyone keeps asking to see one, so here it is! It was a lot easier to take the picture with my two other pregnant friends and my mom. So belly, belly, belly, mom!

Wave for the camera

We know he is hard to see, but if you look, he is laying on his back looking up at you. His head is on the right and his body is on the left. In the next picture you can see his little hands up by his face.

Oh Boy!

We found out yesterday that we are having a baby BOY! Here is a picture of him. He was not really cooperating with the camera, and thought he would rather show us his backside. This made it difficult to get a picture of his face, but easy to get pictures of his boy parts (I'll be nice and leave those pictures off the web). We were glad to see that all of his measurements and body parts look great. We saw his feet, hands, arms, legs, heart, spine, and many other wonderful parts, and they all look great. We still haven't decided on a name for this boy, but we'll let you know when we do.

Movin' on up....to the East side!

We have finally settled into our new apartment in New York City. Here is our living room. See how the mirrored wall makes the room seem bigger? If you look through the doors you can see our pretty treetop view from our balcony. We like our neighborhood, but we miss Texas.

City Dogs

Maggie and Jack are quickly becoming city dogs. They love going to Central Park early in the morning since they can run around without their leashes. There are lots of other dogs there for them to play with every morning. Here they are on the grassy hill. They also love to go swimming in the fountain.
