Growing and Growing and Growing

It is hard to believe that Braeden is almost 4 months old! He is growing like a weed, and we can't wait to find out his height and weight measurements next week. He is barely in the 3 to 6 month clothes anymore and is almost ready for 6 to 9 month clothes. He is catching up to where his brother was at this age. He is smiling and laughing, cooing and gooing, and has managed to roll over on his back a couple of times. We are enjoying this sweetheart. Austin hugs and kisses him all the time (not as much as we do, but it is still sweet to see Austin love on him without us asking him to).

Exersaucing is exhausting

Oh man, I just couldn't play with another thing...I am out like a light! ZZZzzzzzzzzzz!

All By Mysewlf!

I can put my shoes on "all by mysewlf"....seeee?? What do you mean it isn't on the right foot? Why does that matter?

Exersaucing

Who is this kid, and what did you do with my little baby? It is hard to believe that Braeden is already big enough to enjoy some time in the exersaucer. His big brother enjoys showing him how everything works, and as you can see Austin still thinks he is small enough to enjoy it himself. He got in all by himself one morning when Mommy was getting Braeden out of bed.

Life's a Beach!!

We went on a big family trip to St. George Island, Florida for a week, and it was a blast and exhausting at the same time. The trip began with a two day drive for Mommy, Mimi, Austin, and Braeden. That would be the exhausting part...then a wonderful time on the beach, in the pool, and on Daddy's boat. We were lucky to have Grandma, Grandpa, Mimi, and Uncle Ben join us. Here are a few shots of all the fun we had. Austin came back after riding Daddy's boat and told everyone "I dwove da boat!" Notice the stylin' Hawaiian shirt Austin is wearing! He really fit the part! While we were there, Uncle Ben caught a huge King Fish.

We'll Miss You Granddaddy

Just last month Braeden got to meet Mommy's Granddaddy, and he smiled and cooed at him for sure! Granddaddy passed away this month, and we'll miss him so much. At his funeral Braeden and Austin got to meet all of their second cousins for the first time.

Grandma and Grandpa Get to Know Braeden

Just a couple of pics of Grandma and Grandpa enjoying new smiles from Braeden.

Mommy and Austin's Day Out

Grandma watched Braeden for us, and Mommy and Austin took a much needed day out together. We went to the Butterfly Center, and saw hissing cockroaches, huge hairy spiders, as well as lots of butterflies. We had a great time together!

Daddy's Boots

Austin is "Soooo Big!" here in his Daddy's boots. He enjoyed putting them on, and slips his feet into any of Daddy's shoes he finds lying around. They are some pretty big (size 13 to be exact) shoes to fill!

A Little Bonding Over Queso

This is such a great picture of Austin and his Daddy. It really shows you how much Austin adores his Daddy!

Exercise time!

Jack joins in on tummy/back time with Braeden.

Austin Gets His First Haircut

Everything was going just fine...Austin got to sit in a taxi cab (fitting since he was born in New York), while watching a video, he liked it when she sprayed his hair wet, he didn't even mind being combed, but then.......well, the pictures say it all!

The final result looks good!

Bam Bam Bam!

Bam Bam Bam! Austin loves when Mommy cooks in the kitchen because it is time to play the drums!

Visiting Great Grandparents

We took Braeden on his first trip to Louisiana to meet his Great Grandparents and Great Aunt Alice. We also went to his Great Great Great Grandmother's farm house for a family reunion where Austin enjoyed a saddle ride!

All Smiles

Braeden loves to smile at us. He also has quite an extensive vocabulary including words like: goo, ga, eeeooo, and squeals. Here are a couple of his many smiles!

What??? I am not supposed to?

What??? I am not supposed to? No, no you say? But I used to get to swing in it all the time!
Hmmm, maybe this is why the swing suddenly quit working!

Just A Swingin'

Austin likes to "help" Braeden swing. Unfortunatly the swing quit working, so we had to buy another!

Lions, and tigers, and bears, Oh MY!

A trip to Gander Mountain with my Daddy was fun. I wasn't scared of the bear at all. I even thought it was ok to touch him. By the way, I pronounce bear...."beer" in case you were wondering.
